FREEDIVING
FREEDIVING is so-called 'breath-hold underwater diving'. It is called 'apnea'
in Italian.
Leave heavy oxygen cylinder on the ground, inhale deeply into the bottom
of your lungs, and dive into the blue ocean.
Freediving might include various aquatic activities, such as spear fishing,
snorkeling, freedive photography etc. Ltely, Freediving is publicaly known
as competitive apnea.
<Competitive Freediving>
Static
Static is timed breath holding competition. Some oversea divers can hold
breath for amazing 10 minutes.

Dynamic [with/no Fins]
Dynamic with/no Fins is to compete the underwater swimming distance while
holding breath. For this competition, the diver can chose whether to use
fins or no fins.
Constant weight[with/no Fins]
This competition is to dive vertically while holding breath and compete
the diving depth. For this competition, the diver can choose whether to
use fins or no fins. This is know as most popular freediving competition.
The diver is not allowed to change the diving weight.
Free Immersion
This competition is similar to Constant Weight in terms of competing the
diving 'depth' while holding breath. The difference is Free Immersion uses
the vertical guiderope to pull him or herself down to depth without fins.

Variable weight
This competition is similar to Constant Weight in terms of competing the
diving 'depth' while holding breath. However, the diver is allowed to change
the diving weight. Many divers takes advantage to dive deep sea to the
bottom with heavy weight and less swimming then return to the surface without
diving weights.

No limits
This competition is similar to Constant Weight and Variable in terms of
competing the diving 'depth' while holding breath. This competition allows
to change diving weight, and also allowed to return to the surface using
inflatable bag. This competition uses least oxygen among all diving depth
competition.
